Some highlights from the speeches:
Mr Kristol: We love ourselves. We are a great paper.
Mr. Hadley: Saddam was bad. He killed people. Our war is good. Still believes Saddam had WMDs.

Q&A:
The lights just went out and Mr. Kristol said 'Neo-cons work better in the dark'

Mr. Kristol: "I don't believe we'll see a dramatic shift to the right in the next three years"

Mr. Kristol: "I don't think gay people are a threat to American families." Does not believe gay marriage should be on the same level of heterosexula marriages. 'It seems to be a mistake to impose gay marriage through the courts.' (Basically saying it should be up to the voters.)

Mr. Kristol: "Bush is defining the party in some good ways and some bad." 'Condi is the only possible candidate from the Bush Administration.'

"Are we better off now because of the Bush Administration?"
Mr. Kristol: "I think we are."
(crowd groans loudly)
Mr. Kristol claims that Miami-Dade County is a 'Democratic Stronghold' - too bad it went red in 2004.
Mr. Kristol: "We worried what we would do with the budget surplus- the Bush Administration took care of that."
